Repentance is good, if we repent as we climb and as we lift. I hope I never reach a place where I do not want to repent over my own lacks in missing my high marks! I’ll forever set a too-high goal for my soul. I never want to feel I’ve reached anywhere in my Ascension compared with where I want to go.

Your resentment is only because God "didn’t come through" on a husband for you. You have never really meant "Thy Will," but Thy Will – my way!

I’m so grateful that you are growing up to where all detrimental things fall away, instead of wearing a hair-shirt over your "sins!" Do it joyfully! Tell every cigarette and cocktail how wonderful they are! How beautiful! How glorious! How enjoyable! Bless each and every one until you feel good inside! You might as well make the habits pay you some dividends! And I assure you they will, truly. You’ve cursed every drink, every cigarette and yourself until "what have you?" More desire! Bless every match, lighter, light, too. Please?

We do not dwell upon anyone’s dishonesty, but we treat them as a sieve. You had to free yourself from personal blindness, and to reach the place where Logic, Reason, Discrimination, Discretion and Discernment gave you a balanced, full Truth. You hold them for God without any personal reasons whatever, except the Love of God which holds us up – no emotional sentimentality causing you to balance this one against that one’s evil or goodness, each held up for himself alone!

Of course it was your work. You, all of us, are always put slap-bang in the middle of a sphere of darkness to split it asunder, freeing all who are involved with us. When you land, appraise the place, and those in it by Logic, Reason, Discrimination, Discretion and Discernment, then see all as it must become and march straight up! You’ll always be free, and you’ll haul ‘em up by the dozen!

We are what we have earned, including our environment! Each is sent with ample strength to conquer, even as you are conquering. We lift them through God’s Power of Love, but they must finally return to God as Light. When "in the middle," stop, look, listen, hold, love, lift, stand. Help with all your heart. You can only become "involved" when personal opinions or prejudice takes over your own soul substance and you begin to play one individual off against another, comparing them with each other and judging. To be used as the Instrument of God’s need, as a servant of all the Power, no personal involvement is possible when seeing each concerned as they must be.

It is well to win, but it is also well to remember that much more remains to conquer and to win. For this conquering often has been half-hearted winning, done under lukewarmness and indifference much of this life, and under a lack of soul fervency to conquer this. There can be no slipping into any remaining darkness. When the soul is fervent and constant to beauty and joy, there is no such thing as slipping. In joy and fervency, one always moves upward, though perhaps slowly.

I urge you to hold fast to a joyous spirit and to obey the Laws of Beauty as your keynote until the 10th of August. Seek beauty from the morning till night. Find beauty in every lesson, and be joyous, for only in joy can you please God fully. You shall be amazed when you rejoice in beauty at the glory of miracles that will pour upon you. Stand and hold in constancy, for Love shall uphold you.

"A man’s gift makes room for him, and brings him before great men." The greater the gift the longer it takes. Love, give and forgive, and your good comes to you. Never reach for the good, let it come. Do the work and let the Father add the "good gifts." Do not be dictatorial about stating truth, but use such words as "I could be wrong, but it could work out this way if" or "it could come out this way." This does not close the front and back doors to later changes.

Pray. Praise. Live the Joy of the Christ. Live Law, and let God move in and through you. Stand unwavering. We lose our good to God and His work when we waver. Be consciously positive of truth always, and declare it constantly as you work silently. Do this wisely and with Discrimination always, never knocking down another or against anything! The greatest use of Logic, Reasoning, Discrimination, Discretion and Discernment in Love wins, and is God working.

You are protected on every count. God is so good to us, isn’t He? Your Vision and Love of God is your Armor of Light surrounding you.

"Seek first the Kingdom of Heaven and all these things shall be added unto you" is the first Law. To have all things added "before we call," we must pay all debts. Release Light to cover the debts of all people on your lines. Lift them, place their debts in a Pillar of Fire, and ask that their head glands be cleansed of all the old. Use the rotary motion, right hand over left, clockwise, for cleansing another’s head centers. Debts of darkness are the only gifts we have to bring to the Father. When we lift it by scooping up our hands at the end, our Guards stand by and lift it to the Lords of Karma.

Study the six Laws of Comprehension, one at a time, then study the five faculties. When you function Logic, Reason, Discretion, Discrimination and Discernment as one, they become Comprehension.

As we begin to walk the Path of the Master, they give us a Mantle of the Christ, the Mantle of Messiahship. If we can hold our high vision consistently, our functioning of this high Christed Power is unlimited. This means following the Master all the way to become as perfect as our Father in Heaven is perfect. We then lift all darkness for purification. As we lose our vision or repudiate the Christ, we lose this. This mantle grows or shrinks according to our vision. The Father needs many to function as such. He cannot have enough of us preaching the message of Christ.

A man’s gift of Light, as it shines through him, brings him before great men. You are as big as you act, not as big as you think you are. You only have blessings and curses, and anything less than a blessing is a curse. Self-pity is love of self, and taking offense is only loving "me" so much. You are capacitated to express the full Love of God, but not when you know you are you. You are reborn: You have no father, no mother, no wife, no husband, no children – you have God. You walk with God. Do not spend any time imagining yourself there. Spend your time working here, but waiting on Him there.

There is no place to go in the past, for it is wiped out as of today. There is just the step whereon you stand. Do not break through it by thinking of self. When you know it, you will believe it. When you just think you know it, you fall into it repeatedly, for it is a pit. The only way you can overcome self is to love God. Every time you take your mind off God, you sit in the quicksand and the mess. So you do not know it, you just think you know it. When you know God, you will not think you know anything. You will not see or hear evil except to lift.

Only being a minister every minute of the day makes you a minister. Imagining does not do it, because you fall into the ditch. Minister unto your business during the day. You do not go out to talk about it. You go out to live it. Egotism is just another name for self-consciousness, and self-consciousness is walking into a room and thinking everybody is talking about you. Do not congratulate yourself on being super-sensitive. This is a pernicious form of egotism. When Edna Miriam steps into a room and conversation stops, she knows God is present.

We all build our own Gethsemane and we crucify ourselves. We must experience it to get rid of the old, and will must be crucified. You experience it in two ways, with the Glory of God or with the demotion of your soul.

For ten incarnations you have been working back from where you played with darkness in the past. What does it matter who you were or how far down you went in this lifetime? The only thing that matters is that you come up and forget self. That is all. And the incarnation that you do not like, the cruel revengeful one, is what you express, and you have liked it. You have liked yourself in that role: Dictator. If you had not liked it, you would have quit it. When you stop liking that role, you will not express it. When you loathe it, how fast you will lift it!

Beware. You can fall right into self-delusion and a grandeur fixation so great that it neutralizes everything you try to do. The only way you can feel exaltation of soul is when you have made a sacrifice. You must be sure you are on the Altar, day and night. All you must do is to love God enough, and to release enough Power to pay the debts of the world. Well, do you feel awake?

You understand that payment of Vows is not to be delayed. You have no time to feel guilty. You can do, in the next six months, what you have lost, if you want to. We have the place prepared. Yet it is still your choice. You do not make a choice before the Altar tonight, then forget it until next week. Each hour, on the hour, you go up and say, "Here I am, Father."

Bite your tongue. All else will follow when you do that. You are supposed to lift every word with no thought of the self. It is time, and it is time not to slide back and climb up again. If you keep on sliding and falling back, you will not have accomplished much in this lifetime. You will have done most of your work backwards. Eventually you fall back and you cannot come back quite as far, and it is named retrogression.

We, who are born of Law, follow its highest interpretation. Give the Laws with great consecration, devotion and love, so that no student may ever be misled. Watch your words, and do not disillusion them. Do not develop feet of clay for them to see. Maintain Silence except when you are giving Law, and none of your own notions. Give them a chance to get the balance of Law, and the less said on the outside, the better. Watch yourself that you do not delude yourself. Silence is the only thing you can use to pay your debt.

Use all your energies for your work. You have done well putting one-tenth of yourself into it. You do your hours of work, God goes with you and success follows. You are going to achieve the place you have visioned, with hard work. You will not be given it for thinking anything; you will earn every step of it the hard way. You will know you have it, and how you have done it. It will be divine discipline to prepare you for the ministry eventually. Do you understand? That is well. You will prepare yourself for the ministry by earning every step of it.

There is no such thing as trying, there is only doing. And you cannot get rid of your past limitations by working on self for half an hour and saying, "I am through." You have only begun. Lift the past and give it to a burial ground above, so that it may be consumed. Make no demands that somebody in the future will be just. Your whole life has been based on the fact that you believe that life has cheated you. Come clean before the Thrones. You still hold the idea that someone should make up what was taken from you. Nothing was taken from you.

It is time that you really surrender, not just talk surrender, not just Vow surrender. You shall conquer. The greatest success you have visioned shall be yours for the price. The soul goes forward, working out its salvation. Work as hard mentally and emotionally as you do physically. Under the surface you still pity yourself for being cheated. When you tear that out by the roots, you will be free.

It is time you waked up to your responsibility. It is time you comprehend the magnitude of your Vows that you have made lightly between your teeth, and begin to know the Laws of Justice for everyone. For your lack of success is this thing that goes out and pushes away instead of drawing in. You overlay it with a veneer of love, but the veneer wears thin. At the psychological moment, others feel that they are going to be cheated, then they do not buy. You let this permeate through all the love you have.

No one owes you anything on earth. You have collected all that is coming to you. It is time you cleaned house. It is time you stopped trying and became the Law of Light. Light is waiting to use you. Light cannot use you much because it would destroy your body now. You have known this. You have seen it in the night watches, yet you have not comprehended it. A part of you still repudiates it.

Some way God must penetrate the hardness of your heart, the selfishness of the crust around it, the complete self-thinking and self-exaltation, and the putting of your self into high places, until you take the humble places and work up. Some way Light must awaken you to the destiny that awaits you for the sacrifice of self, and think no more of anything of yourself but to serve without thought of self. For centuries you have lived a good but utterly selfish life, demanding to come in wealthy. It was your choice to play God and to be selfish. You will earn God’s respect. Do you understand me? Is that plain enough speaking?

The doors have been opened before you. The Father will hold them open, but you will walk every step of the way, earning it. Everyone has free choice. Become.

Watch yourself on lightly spoken idle words. Declarations of darkness are idle words, which includes blaming others for criticism and condemnation. You are of the Light. You are created in God’s image and likeness, and of the Quality of the Father. You are born to it. Why are you laggard in accepting it? Why not move up and become the full servant of Almighty Power, the Light that is the Life of God? It is not robbery to declare yourself as perfect as your Father in Heaven is perfect. Cleanse your thought process, and your spoken words will follow your Godlike abilities, with your heart cleansed of blaming others for holding you back.

No one may open the doors of life for you. You are your own door-opener. Only you can open your door with love, and you are free of earth when you so accept. Yet you are not free from service, or responsibility, for you must either lift your share of the debts left behind from all ages, or return to earth.

God cannot remove the valleys from earth, or cleanse the minds and hearts of the children of men all at once. He cannot smooth your way by some magic formula, for you have been given the Power of the Christed Ones, the Power of Ascension, access to the Powerhouse of our Father.

You were created as Creators by God for this day on earth. You are the leaders who have come through the Red Sea of materialism to the Thrones of God. What you earn by sacrifice of self, by the release of Power, by the assumption of responsibility for the world, these things earn you the right to see the vast kingdoms, to hear the voices of the Councils, to see the Master as he walks earth, day by day, hour by hour.

Waver not, for wavering cuts every vibration that you establish. When you understand the glories of the Kingdom, you will not be weary of living, allow lines to sag, or fall into ditches. The low places shall be filled, ditches shall be bridged and you will ascend. When you say, "I am weary," you say, "I am satisfied to turn myself down into earth earthy and dwell with the children of men who have no soul vision."

You cannot hold on to the past and reach for the future at the same time, because you will be pulled apart. The riches you have stored up in Heaven are worth more than millions of dollars – and when you relax and work more, you will also have millions of dollars.

Gather all your parts, scattered over the past week – idle words, negative thoughts and actions, even words of truth, if spoken from self. If you’ve spoken your own words instead of the Father’s, self shows. Speak only to be spoken through.

The old method of writing your desires and "sleeping on it" needs to be updated to novena prayer that backs the project.

Someone complained about having to spend time with her nitpicking sister: Who is going where? Little me, the martyr or I AM? Who is God sending? For what? You can make your own joy there, but do not look for pleasure. You can only go as an agent of the Almighty, not as a sister. This is a Mission. Declare that the Fathers put words of love, kindness and charity on everyone’s lips. You feel so good inside when you love the good things rather than to hate the evil.

To ask another to make a promise is an outer manifestation of rebellion, willfulness, pride and stubbornness against High Councils. Its odor is a stench before God.

Today, for those who give up self, opens a new cycle. The Father sent His Son to give his Joy. St. John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life."

The Master had three and a half years of ministry and his way of teaching was the way. To pray, withdraw yourself, your focus from the outer and move your thoughts up to the realm invisible where the spoken word has meaning, and more power to draw unto us our own. Rejoice for the miracles to come forth this week.

Some are soft and fall to the bottom because they let others pull them down. There are no discrepancies in the Kingdom. Should such a fallen one come through on a challenge of discernment, she re-earns her original place.

If we accept our full responsibility to lift the force for our families, too, we can be completely cleaned up.

Someone asked about Job: As above so below. Job fell because he was a good man and knew it. For instance, if one talks about being tolerant, it is a sure sign that he has buried intolerance in his subconscious mind. One does not boast about being tolerant. Boasting includes a claim on a virtue and means one is chuck full of opinions and prejudices.

The first step is arising from subnormal to the creature stage and recognizing others’ faults. If you had none yourself, you could not recognize them as faults. Declare all your creations good. You cannot stick your nose in another’s business. Cleanse your subconscious until all you are is the Love of God.

Treatment: We, too, may appropriate substance from the River of Life, using Imagination, Thinking and Desire as Mind, Power and Love to create an image of the Master, to see him. Put this created image before the needy or ill person. Jesus can stand and speak the word to them. This is how we create broadcasting stations. He broadcasts to all who call on him. The Master sends a bit of himself into the created image and lifts the hands to heal. No personal will is involved in this, but the individual must choose to call on the Master. If he chooses to call, a Shaft of Light lifts his Desire to mate with Will. All persons you touch as an instrument of Light are on your lines then, and your responsibility is to lift them.

People say, "I live in an awful place." This cannot be if you are clean inside. When you clean up, they move you to a better place. When you cannot lift the consciousness of the masses, lift earth; they will come.

Solomon’s 1,000 burnt offerings are 1,000 days of loving God enough to declare everything in your life good. Tell the Father, "It makes no difference to me. This is just more dirt to lift." At the end of each of these 1,000 days of sacrifice you say, "I love You, Father. It is good." On each day of no record of evil, a single crown lotus petal opens.

Agree with all your scattered parts – subconscious and subsoul, conscious mind and egoic soul and superconscious and Oversoul – in at-one-ment.

Do not tell stories about anyone’s illness, but mention it only for prayer. You cannot take your past to the Fathers, but you lift it. The taints of earth are what brought down us all down before.

Hair shirts of self-pity consist of invisible crystallized desire body substance. When your Father attempts to take it away, do not grab hold or it causes a physical reaction of shingles; it prickles, itches and sticks.

Declare another divine, and you become divine.

You were created according to a Divine Pattern. It is possible for every cell of your body to inhale and exhale Light and Love, but you must live in perfection to do it. We must be channels to release, vessels to hold, instruments to direct Power. When you surrender more of self, body poisons are cleansed.

When you breathe, you take in atomic power from the Source, but you must accept. You can breathe Power only from a point as high as your surrendered acceptance. If you cannot accept, you limit the Power you breathe. It must be done without rebellion or inner conflict. We are opening a new 1,000 days of burnt offerings and each day you build on the last one. You are building on the Ascension of the time.

Our inner bodies are perfect, but the desire body can be imperfect if you become indifferent or negative. When we breathe a Source breath, it fills the atomic, desire and physical bodies with the River of Life. We cleanse body poisons on the exhalation. Don’t collapse on exhalation, but push the breath out to be cleansed. We remake our bodies once a year. The only spot not renewed annually is what is abnormal, wrinkles, tumors, etc.

Wipe the day’s page clean each night, lift every negative spoken or thought for burning or absorption, so you neither harm nor delay yourself or the person criticized.

You can never have too much life. Lie on the floor like a five-pointed star at 5:00 p.m., or when you are tired, and be refilled. Like a car stuck without gas, you must keep it full, not half or a quarter full.

You can do anything, from the least to the greatest. Watch your opinions and prejudices. Always hold yourselves open for new release in interpretation of Law.

You earn your way back, and you shall come in with dignity and control of your tongue. No more foolishness. Bite your tongue. You have thousands of hours of work to make up, where you have only put a small portion of yourself into the hours.

Do not feel like a martyr. You are right: When you deal in things that are magnificent enough, you don’t get bored, and when you deal with the infinitesimal things, you get bored. Yet the beginning of your new 1,000 years is here, and they can be as great as you want them because you have your lessons here. You will start right and hold right. You have been, without fail, possessed in getting off on the left foot. In your beginnings, you will start with your right foot and hold.

The soul cannot emerge fully except through the travail of sacrifice. Petty things will take their proper place and you, yourself, will not get in the way. You have met your karma now. It is not finished. You will still have to meet the rest, but you will do it in Joy. You are not regressing, being put out, put upon, or in any manner demoted. You are being put in your own place at last. Your words are, "I accept. I am ready. Send me forth."

You shall put a seal upon your lips against awkward and unlawful utterances, and your weaknesses shall become your strength. You are the business man of Light, setting a new standard for business. You shall give value for that which you shall receive, in return for compensation. You shall be an ambassador that others shall have a better comprehension of the Brotherhood of Men. That is your mission, and it is the only way you can earn your ministry: Old habits dropped, lifted and shed and new habits of Glory formed, and your visions can come to pass as you will. In surrender, of yourself doing nothing, forgetting you have a self, and knowing only Light.

Raise your arms at once under anger or any great surge of negative emotion. The sudden surge closes the lotus petals, but raising your arms in surrender to contact God reopens them with a burst of atomic power.

When evil must be separated from an individual or a circumstance, it takes the knife of force to cut the crystallization. Evil is always based in hatred and rebellion, and only the almost visible knife of heavy force can cut crystallization. Power melts, dissolves and absorbs what force cuts asunder.

I must decide to serve and look at only God and let Light descend over all. My voice was sharp again. My husband is a perfect reflection of my subconscious mind, that one point of contact with my dweller on the threshold. I must release all my anchors.

I am a worker of and for God. A servant of God is one who serves God. How do I work? I must not be conscious of "working" for anyone. That is self-consciousness. I must ascend to the highest Throne, love God and when I put all on a cloud and release Light, Light descends. Declare them good continually until healed.

3. How much do I love, and how great is my devotion to the Son of God?
4. What is my Desire in service?
5. From what heights shall I do my lifting back into the Light of both individuals and conditions?
6. Do I know that the Light lifts with one easy, less-than-instant recognition? OR
7. Do I think that I must, by recognizing it repeatedly, recreate it for further lifting to give me credits in lifting?
8. Who gets the credit? (God.)
9. Who wants the credits for surrendering and being used by the Light? (Self.)
10. After one recognition and invoking of the Power and Light, how often should the lifting to a cloud and declaring perfection be repeated? (Once.)
11. How often should I declare it good and very good? (A thousand times an hour.)
12. Do you know when the good work of the Power starts? (Instantly.)
13. What determines the length of time needed for the miracle? (Not only in the height of surrender, but in the completeness of the marriage of the subsoul to egoic soul. If it is but a trial marriage, it may take years.)

If a beloved animal dies and you get a new one and love it, too, the soul of the beloved one enters the new one. This is how animals and birds evolve.

When we must reprimand a child or an adult, we have used force and pay a debt, even when just. When you lash with your tongue, you use the knife of force. You must do it, but you still pay a debt. Power is soft and salubrious as it melts, dissolves and absorbs. Say, "Let Power heal." Power works softly. The eternal Power does the work, even through doctors as agents.

When you are ready to leave a job, you weave out the old and prepare to weave in the new. Don’t throw the old job away or you cut lines instead, and you can be without work for a long time.

Never, ever and forever are periods of time, especially "ever" and "forever." "Never" is the time limit of force sent forth by explosion when you say, "I’ll never do that again!" The more violent the explosion of the word "never," the longer the time you are hanging onto your own karmic force. The same thing is true on "ever" and "forever." The length of time depends upon the Power expended and the return to the Source.

"Thou hast no enemies," saith the Law. You are your own enemy, unless you are of Light, all gracious, all seeing, all justice, tempered with mercy and compassion. Look into the face of complete blackness and say, "Be with the Light of God. Be White Light now!" When blackness besets any place or part of earth, or persons upon it, raise your hands and say, "No. It cannot be. The Gates of Hell shall not prevail against the Light." And so it is and so it shall be, even as you decree. Make your decrees and they shall stand. Watch, and lift all things, declaring good, and it shall be so.

The voice is the true indication of soul-strength or self-weakness. It is well to remember that the slightest deviation from briskness in your voice is your cue that self is raising its head. You can tell instantly.

The words to use are "This is what I am after. This is what I am working for. This is what is being developed for now. I am organizing every day, higher and higher." And never waste a moment on negatives ever! A negative cuts the line to the goal and the lotus petals are curled down.
